Has anyone had any luck with 'sensation lilacs' in zone 8?

I bought one before I realized that it was zones 4-7. I don't know what to do with it now.

Has anyone had any luck with 'sensation lilacs' in zone 8?
Generally lilacs do better in cooler climates. Since you already have it you can always plant it in a shadier area of your yard. There may not be as many blooms but it is better than baking it in the sun. You can also pot it. If it isn't cool enough for it, it may die no matter what you do. Good luck, they are beautiful shrubs.
