OOOOOHHHH Man- i totally blew it -- and I need help --wow?
Maybe you should have your dog lick it. I heard they can lick things back to health.
Reply:Tell them you lost it. I'm sure you have some insurance thing on it. Look over the fine print on the contract and look for a way out.
Reply:LOL I hate to tell you but you're more then likely screwed..i've done this soooooooo many time. I have a Motorola Razr as well...they're horrrrrrible phones! I dropped mine in a glass of vodka before and it dried out suprisingly... If it doesn't dry out within a few days then it will never get better. Also....if you have warranty that would work, except where you got it wet....the dot on the back will be pink. So, you can't have warranty either and will pay big bucks for a new one.

Sorry! I've been in the same situation lol

Edit- Yes, the pink dot is how the company determines whether the phone is wet or not. Sometimes you automatically have a replacement phone with your warranty. It really just depends on that. Sometimes it will cover if your phone gets wet as well. Razrs are defo not the ideal phone. They sure do look nice, and have a lot of features, but over all they're horrible. I've went through over 5 different razr phones in the past 2 years. I had one 2 that froze up for no reason, one got wet, the other was dropped and didn't work...etc...They break to easy, I would advise trying really hard not to drop it. I have problems with throwing cell phones against walls lol...so yeah that isn't a good idea with Razrs.
Reply:hey hey now... we dont hve to get fiesty....sorry hunnie... theres really nothing u can do now..maybe find a cheap one on ebay???
Reply:why shud you washed your phone???? now i believe that common sense is not common now., if you want to clean your phone go to the authorized centers and let them do the job.,

buy a new phone and dont wash it again
Reply:haha i did this to my bud phone, anyways their are 2 things you can do, first go ahead you use your insurance that you pay for 5 buck or whatever you pay with your cell phone company to get it replace for free as long as you send them your current phone or let it sit out for awhile in the sun a day isn't long enough, i'm from texas i know and then go out to like walmart and buy a battery for it and if it doesn't work then....you need to call and report it to your cell phone company but when i did that to my friend phone i waited it out and made him think he wash it when he was drunk and after about a week i think it was we went out and bought a battery and it work fine, let say he still think it was him but not he feel smarter because it work like it was never put in the washer:D hope i help ya some gotta get a battery b/c it probaly got fried in the washer!!!
Reply:The only thing you can do is leave it out to air dry and DO NOT TURN IT ON.

HOPEFULLY by morning it will be all better, and just a good lesson to scare you.

But more likely than not, the circuitry has short-circuited.

Basically what happens there is the electricity going through the phone jumps off the path's it's allowed to cross onto paths that normally don't allow that much electricity, and therefore those tracks burn up, since electricity will cause heat.

What you can do is look at your warranty or your insurance plan on it (IF you have one) and see if water damage is covered. If not.... I'm soo sorry to hear about your loss %26gt;.%26lt;
Reply:I don't think you should have washed it...But everyone makes mistakes! Don't beat yourself up about it! Personally, I have a RAZR, and I HATE it! It's horrible. RAZRs SUCK! I had mine for less than a year, and it's already broken! I think you should go and by a new phone. There is no way you can get that one to work like new again.
Reply:Well..dont feel like an idiot. I dropped my V3 down a PUBLIC toilet. can you say yuck-o. I had to have it replaced..i let it fan dry...then hit it with the blow dryer.....then put it on the dash of my car....nothing...it was a goner. And you cant have it replaced on your warranty since the phone has a dot thats under the battery that turnd red when the phone gets wet...so they will know....if you have insurance now would be a good time to use it!
Reply:listen most warranties cover lost phones so just throw it away and say it got stolen and theyll replace it. when i got a scratch on my phone i told cingular it was going slowly and they replaced it so the warranty is really good.
