Are lilacs safely edible? Are Yellow roses? Are Juniper berries, are all the herbs related to mint?

There are books on what weeds are edible. It would be handy to know what garden blossoms are good for me to munch on.

he acorn from the oak is one of the most underutilized abundant superfoods.

I understand that all the species (?) related to dandelion and milkweed are very good. In starvation zones like North Korea and places in Africa, the weeds we send to the landfil as we do an afternoons prepartion for gardening would feed a small villiage for a week or so.

The putting emergency food in storage advocated by Mormons and others may well start with a knowlege of what indigenous plants are edible. This is the most cost efficient component of emergency readiness.

Of course toxic contamination involved in some calamities neds to be considered, too.

Ethnic Koreans gather ferns from hillsides in Washington State and exort them to Korea, where they bring a nice price..

Clover is good for lifestock and good for humans. Our dog is fond of Brocolli, collards, and Kale
