Not that acidic! They do better closer to neutral......so slightly acidic, neutral and up into the alkaline zone, but not too far.
Do lilacs do good in acidic soil like blueberries?
No - they like rather more alkaline soil. You can add lime to bring alkalinity up to ph 7.5
