I am about to get married and Was thinking about the colors Cobalt blue, Lilac and Silver, or any other Sugg..

I need some help with my wedding colors and where to go for our honeymoon......... Money is no object........... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am about to get married and Was thinking about the colors Cobalt blue, Lilac and Silver, or any other Sugg..
Those colors sound great. Your bridesmaids could wear cobalt dresses with silver accents, and the flowers could all be lavender. You could have a silver aisle runner with cobalt candles....cobalt decorations with silver accents...the possibilities are endless. But that is a great color combination!

As for the honeymoon--Sandals resorts are great. They are all-inclusive (all your expenses are built into the package price) and they have resorts in many different places. check out www.sandals.com
Reply:I like the cobalt blue with the silver, or the lilac with the silver, but not all 3 together. Maybe you could do the Lilac with the silver and throw in another color you really like that would compliment it more, like a light yellow, or a pastel peach.

As far as the honeymoon, I would go to Hotel Atlantis, remarkable beauty, and it is my dream vacation.

I say don%26#039;t go into debt to get married.

My daughter had a simple civil ceremony, and used the money saved to buy a car.
Reply:I%26#039;ve seen a wedding done in those colors, it%26#039;s very common and not so thrilling, but not bad. It really is up to you, what your dream wedding is.

What time of year are you getting married? You may want to consider the season for colors and decor influence.

What area do you live in, where are you getting married (outside, inside, what%26#039;s the style, climate, etc.). Take all those things and more into consideration. Is your dress really formal or modern or casual or traditional? Will that then dictate the rest of the wedding (I would think so...)...

Would you want a theme style wedding, even just a hint? That may help you pull things together and think of a color and decor scheme to follow.

What%26#039;s YOUR style? Do you want a traditional wedding, or would you want something more unique, creative or fun?

Maybe you%26#039;d look for bridesmaids dresses in non-traditional places and you%26#039;d be inspired by the color selection you%26#039;d find in other sorts of shops you go to.

As far as your honeymoon, that%26#039;s another personal preference, and something you%26#039;d decide on with your husband-to-be, right? I%26#039;d talk to him about it, and do some research. Good luck!
Reply:I would add a deep purple
Reply:Try Cabo San Lucas Mexico.. if money is no object then you can rent a bungalo for you and ur hubby and it will be just you two with servers to serve you what ever you like..

those colors are pretty.. i like silver and lilac.. not so sure about blue..
Reply:Go to the nearest Motel 6 . . . And fake everyone out. I like Burnt Orange, Lilac and Cobalt Blue . . . Best of wishes and Congratulations to the new groom . . .
Reply:I can give you advice on flower colors! As a florist, I was always running into people who used blue as a color, and the thing is- there are very FEW blue flowers. So if you%26#039;re thinking blue flowers to go with your colors, they will probably be dyed, or not blue at all, but dark purple. I always wished people knew that before they came in because I hated telling them they couldn%26#039;t have what they wanted.

Also the type of flower, and therefore the colors available, is somewhat dependent on the time of year. Like lilacs which are gorgeous and smell heavenly and are amazing in arrangements, are only in season for a VERY short window. Other flowers that are fabulous in those colors (blue %26amp; lilac) but are only in season in the spring are hyacinth and sweetpeas.

Please feel free to email me for any flower questions you have, I love to help brides to be!
Reply:I am a lilac fan, but colbalt also sounds appealing.
Reply:Hey! Don%26#039;t worry that is why you should choose a good brides maid first, and have her help you with your decision believe me it works ....

That%26#039;s why she is called brides %26quot;maid%26quot; because she should serve you at your every command and have you not worry about this things or else she is not doing her job.....
Reply:i like the lilac and silver. and for your honeymoon hmm....maybe paris...maybe hawaii it all depends on what you like =)
Reply:This is YOUR wedding. Close your eyes and think of the most gorgeous wedding you have ever seen or would like to have. If someone picks the color for you, the its not what YOU want. Good Luck and Congrats!
Reply:those colors are great! I suggest Charleston sc for the your honeymoon i went last year and it was great alot to do and some of nicest restaurants in the united states great shopping great romantic time I love charleston sc.
Reply:sounds ELECTRIFYING!
Reply:Maybe you could do a black dress with silver sashes on some of the girls, and cobalt blue sashes on the other girls. Honeymoon-you could either go someplace tropical or maybe to Italy or Paris (very romantic)! LILAC IS HORRIBLE! DO NOT use lilac in any of your color schemes. Lilac FLOWERS would probably be ok, and if you want to tie in silver with it, you could put sparkly twirly plastic sticks in with the flowers in the vase-or put sparkle dust on the flowers. Green is really in right now as well.....But blue would probably be good....But don%26#039;t do colored flowers for the bouquet....it%26#039;s REALLY TACKY! Do white roses/daisies/lilies/etc. with sparkle dust on them! Hope this helps and I hope that you have a spectacular wedding! REMEMBER--It doesn%26#039;t matter what flowers you have, what dress you wear, and what tux he has on-What matters is your love!

Best wishes!

Reply:you should have white or cream as the main color and use whatever color you want as an accent color. You can pull a third color is as a second accent but in very small amounts.. Like the littlest flowers on your cake..or ribbons around the favors or the silverware..little bit in the centerpieces...etc.

If you do to much with a color other than white...it won%26#039;t look like a wedding and it may look really tacky and like a real do it yourself job. The look you want is classy and beautiful.. good luck enjoy! ♥ ♥
Reply:are you asking about dresses for maid of honor and brides maids? if you are i would pick lilac its so pretty. if you are asking about decorations i would go with the theme of your colors of your attire. if i could go anywhere for my honeymoon and money was no object i would go to hawaii...i would ck the climate for this time of year to any place you decide to go. congratulations and best wishes....
Reply:Wow unusual - try New Zealand beautiful here at the mo
Reply:Lilac and silver would be pretty. When are you getting married? If it is in the winter, Jackson, New Hampshire has a lot of nice romantic resorts like the Christmas Tree Farm Inn and the Snowflake Inn. My husband and I went to the Snowflake and really liked it. I think it has a website.
Reply:Black and silver (raiders colors)

then with your honeymoon go to a raiders game... :D
