I was wondering when is the best time to trim down and prune a dwarf lilac shrub??
Korean Dwarf Lilacs?
you can trim it in the spring as long as you under stand that your blooms for this year are allready waiting to bloom , They are the swelled tips on the bud so if you cut this off your bloom will be gone for this year. My korean lilac only needs some simple pruning to help shape it and to remove broken branches in spring from heavy snow cover good luck.
