Are the blooms of lilacs poisonous?
Lilac blossoms are not poisonous. When I was a child, I remember sucking out the interiors of the little flowers because the first time, I was curious, and after that, I liked the sweet taste somewhat. When I was a child I was quite curious and got into all kinds of things. I%26#039;m lucky I didn%26#039;t poison myself, actually, with all the tasting and smelling and poking around.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t use them like that. Why don%26#039;t you try pansies - they are edible and come in a wide variety of sizes and colours.
