Hi...i dug out a dead tree stump and discovered termites...i couldn%26#039;t locate the colony...i%26#039;m planting lilac
They only eat dead wood. Your lilacs should be fine.
Reply:if you found termites then you found the colony!! they do not go wandering around the globe like bees etc,, they stump WAS the colony!!
Reply:plant them saturate ground with termite killer and plant bushes..
