Redoing teen girls room! HELP!!!?

Well I have been wanting to redo my room for a long time and I have just recently decided on some colors. The colors are black, white, teal, and lilac. the main theme will be black and white with the teal and lilac as accent colors. One wall is going to be a black chalkboard wall and one wall will be teal one will be lilac and my biggest wall will be white with teal lilac and black sponged on it! That sounds cute with the colors. I suggest getting some panel curtains and using both colors in them, like t, l,l,t. have your furniture matching if possible. I would choose a maple or oak wood tone. Target has lavendar storage cubes. They are cheap(ish). Maybe do I would do a smaller section of chalkboard, as it starts to look shabby, maybe on your door or something, that way it%26#039;s easy to write yourself notes!. Have a mirror on your wall, if you want your room to look bigger. Teensthemes.com has some other ideas.

I know redoing room is very big problem .When i was redoing my room then i visited lots of websites but only one site was there which gives me a complete information about redoing.

The comforter will match PERFECTLY, I would think.





I%26#039;m a teen girl as well (13) and I got my room redone for my birthday in June.


I chose 3 colors - Lime green, blue, and yellow.


I really wanted my bed to stand out so I found this really chick comforter at WALMART! It%26#039;s black with green, blue and yellow polka dots.


All my walls are Wales Green. It%26#039;s a pretty colour in my opinon.


I also got a BIG blue velvet chair in one corner and behind that chair are these really pretty lights from Ikea! I wish I could show you a picture! They hang down from the ceiling... it%26#039;s really nice!





My advice to you -- shop around! Find the EXACT shade of teal and lilac and find as many cool nick-nacks as you can!


Once you%26#039;ve got the colors down your good to go!


Your room sounds like it will be beautiful! Love the color scheme and the comforter!
