What two colors go well with lilac? Im painting my office, and want a light yet colourful area?

light green, like a mint color is very pretty with lilac. I also like buttercream yellow. These 3 colors together will complement each other very well. however you will want to realize when picking out colors that these lighter tones are often used and thought of as nursery colors. You want this to look like a work space, not a baby%26#039;s room. You might want to use something like a cool jade green to accent your lilac. This darker hue will give it a more grown up look, but still be colorful, light and airy.

A very soft, light green and soft yellow or chamois color. They are both light %26amp; airy colors.Good luck.

Pale yellow - buttery color is awesome.. you know, purple and yellow are complimentary colors!

Maybe Mint or Robin%26#039;s Egg for the other wall... though, I would be all wild and crazy and rock out some Eggplant. But that%26#039;s just me, and totally NOT what you asked about.
Reply:A soft yellow and a white look great with lilac
Reply:cream and mint green.
Reply:yellow and light megenta
Reply:Pale blue and yellow, pastel shades of these colors.
Reply:yep - pale yellow %26amp; turquoise.
Reply:i would do an antique white and a light yellow for the other two walls.
Reply:warm cream and a little of brown wood if you want a %26#039;%26#039;professionnal/classic/warm%26#039;%26#039; look.

yellow-ish beige and flat green if you prefer a %26#039;%26#039;young/modern/light%26#039;%26#039; look

Yellow and lilac goes well together because they are complementary colors, which means that they are opposite on the chromatic circle. But be careful or it%26#039;ll look too much %26#039;%26#039;Easter time%26#039;%26#039;.

If you put some blue, white and other shades of violet your office may look colder...
